Fantasy Update: Buffalo Bills

Surprisingly, the Bills could put up decent numbers in the air this week as the Pats defense has given up 20+ yard plays almost consistently and is in the bottom of the league statistically for this.   Fitzpatrick, last time threw for 4 touchdowns and over 350 yards.  For this to happen again the WR’s have to be on their game and the dropped passes have to be non-existent.  Fitzpatrick should hit double digits this week but the will low to mid, no more than 15.  Jackson has met 15 in his last two games against the Pats, but they are good against the run.  With Jackson and Spiller getting a 50/50 split in carries and catches so far, Jackson does not seem to fair to well unless a big play is pulled off.  Start only if you need him due to injury or bye week.  Spiller is a more viable option between the two has he has been able to be more effective with the limiting carries.  CJ is more of a threat in the air this week as the Pats are not good defensively here.   Spiller was able to put up 63 yards against Houston last week and should do about the same as the Pats, on average have given up 5-6 passes to RB’s this year.  Stevie Johnson is listed as questionable at this point.  If Johnson starts the Pats have given up the 2nd most points to WR’s in the last 5 weeks.  Look for a 10 game if Johnson and Fitz can get on the same page.  Chandler is also in a good position to get some points.  He got 2 touchdowns earlier in the year against them and the Pats have given up the 6th most points to TE’s.  As with any kicker, they are only as good as how productive the offense is at moving the ball.  With Lindell and the Bills offense, there is a better option on the free agent list.  Although he is only 87 points away from taking the clubs scoring record away from Steve Christie.
