This week is one that almost every Bills fan dreads twice a year. For what seems to be the past decade, the Bills have not been able to figure out a way to beat the Patriots on a consistent basis. They have gotten close to winning and beat ‘em one in the past 3 games but as we all know close is only good in horseshoes and hand grenades. The Bills need to make a statement this week and come out strong. The Patriots are not good against the deep ball and if Buffalo wants to take advantage of a rare deficiency of the Patriots this could be the one. The questions at hand are; Can Fitzpatrick throw the ball deep enough to give the receivers a shot and not allow the DB’s a shot at the ball. He has come up short on many occasions and this will hurt them severely if he does this here. Along with the deep ball and a way to get a better percentage with the deep ball is to get the running game going with Jackson and Spiller. It has seemed to be non-existent in the past two games. If the Bills can create a efficient run game and bring in the play action then the deep ball should fall into place as long as Fitz gets the ball out there.
