Buffalo Nickel/Wide Right Awards: Bills/Texans

Well, if you had the opportunity to watch the game, you were just as frustrated as everyone else was.  The game started off as a glimmer of hope with no points being scored, but that slowly moved to what we all expected; a disappointing showing of a team again.  There were some positives; Lindell made three field goals.  The defense started off slowly but was able to stop the run in the second half but unable to keep track of the passing game.  The offensive line was decent in the first half allowing Fitz to get time and not be rushed.  Second half seemed to be opposite day, and Fitz was under pressure what seemed to be just about every passing play.  Fitz decided it was a good move to begin to run the ball towards the end of the game and to be honest it looks like he is a cartoon running on ice; His feet are moving and He is trying but He is not going anywhere, it is comical at times and all you really can do is laugh.  On to the Buffalo Nickel and Wide Right awards.  The Buffalo Nickel goes to Ryan Lindell.  Yes, he did miss a 38 yard field goal but he was the only one to get any points.  Plus he increased his field goals made to a whopping 7.  The Wide-Right award could go to just about anyone at this point as there were downfalls at just about every turn.  I am giving it to Ryan Fitzpatrick for his poor decisions to towards the end of the game, where there was a still a possibility, a small one at that, but still one and he fumbles the ball and continued to attempt to run the ball as well.  Travaras Jackson or Pigpen need to start next week.  There needs to be a change and it needs to be drastic.
