Buffalo Bills Overreaction Mondays

It was a relaxing day for Bills fans. Some fans raked leaves, others had “honey-do” lists and others watched the 3 other AFC East teams do battle. So what did we learn from a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon? Well, the AFC playoff picture is a mess and the Bills are in the middle of it.

What Happened:

The Miami Dolphins did what they needed to do and defeated a Jets team that has lost its swagger. With the Jets dropping to 3-5 on the season, the Bills will need to make sure they win both games against the Dolphins if the playoffs come down to head-to-head matchups.

The Indianapolis Colts also did the Bills a favor by defeating the Tennessee Titans in Overtime on what could be the play of the year. With the Colts victory, the loss to the Titans does not seem as devastating since Tennessee holds the head to head tiebreaker but has dropped to 3-5 on the season.

What to Look Forward to:

With the wrist procedure Mario Williams wrist should be nearly 100% which should give an added boost to Buffalos defensive front.

On the Offensive side of the side Guard Kraig Urbik will be back in the lineup and Left Tackle Cordy Glenn is trying to make his way back after injury which means Fitzpatrick should have added protection while throwing the ball. Remember through the first 3 games of the season the Bills had allowed only one sack, but then the injury bug hit the O-Line.

We’ll see if the week off will help the Bills against the Texans on Sunday, but remember, the Texans also had a week to prepare.
