Run Defense Should Not Be An Issue

The Bills have had two historically bad games against the run. This week, it should be different. The Arizona Cardinals are one of the worst rushing teams in the league. Not only that, but the team is without Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams due to injuries. Down to their third string runningback, the Bills should be able to shut down that portion of the Cardinals offense.

The Bills will also not need to focus as much on quarterback Kevin Kolb than they did against Tom Brady and Alex Smith. The Cardinals strength as a team is their defense, not their offense. If the Bills are going to win this weekend they will need to take advantage of the Cardinals offensively. Shutting down Larry Fitzgerald will be key.

The Bills will be without defensive end Mark Anderson for the first time this week and Kyle Williams has been missing out on practices. There are still questions going into week six on the line, and we will truly see the talent of the Bills defense as they match up against a weaker opponent.

As we look towards the weekend pregame coverage will continue here on Buffalowdown. We will be talking to the editor of the Cardinals Fansided site as well as feature some of the key match ups for this weekend’s action.
