Chan Gailey needed to do something, and something he did. Colin Brown was placed on IR with a torn hamstring that occurred during the field goal attempt for the Bills. Chan then moved to the free agent list and signed the 10- year veteran Reggie Wells. Wells came into the league as a sixth round draft pick of the Cardinals. In the past two years Wells has been with the Eagles and Panthers starting just 1 game with the Eagles in 2010 and appeared in a total of 13 games, 8 with the Eagles and 5 with the panthers. He has played in a total of 117 career games and has a total of 91 starts. The question that comes to mind is whether or not the once cohesive offensive line will still be the same? The next question is will Wells be ready to go for this game as a starter. By my calculations Sam Young and Rinehart are the only others to start and with Rinehart nursing is calf injury is he really a viable option at this point. The Bills also have David Snow, a rookie out of Texas, and Reggie Stephens, a 2 year vet out of Iowa State, on the practice squad if this start to get really hairy on the OL.
