The scariest moment in Buffalo 38-7 preseason loss to Pittsburgh came on the Steelers’ second scoring play. Not because of the touchdown, but because Buffalo starting CB/top draft pick Stephon Gilmore was lying facedown on the turf in pain after the play, holding his leg.
There’s nothing worse than seeing a player hurt, especially when it is a player the Bills desperately need.
Fortunately, you can relax…it was just cramps.
“Yeah just a cramp,” said Gilmore. “I am good. I am 100 percent.”
Thank goodness. Buffalo needs Gilmore healthy in 2012 given the shakiness of the CB spot on this roster. But no fear, he should be good to go.
