Mark your calendars for Thursday November 15, Bills fans.
On that evening, Ralph Wilson Stadium will hopefully be rocking as the Bills host the Miami Dolphins for a Thursday night contest. That primetime affair highlights the just released NFL Schedule. Here it is as a whole:
Week 1 – @ New York Jets, 1 p.m.
Week 2 – vs. Kansas City, 1 p.m.
Week 3 – @ Cleveland, 1 p.m.
Week 4 - vs. New England, 1 p.m.
Week 5 – @ San Francisco, 4:15 p.m.
Week 6 – @ Arizona, 4:05 p.m.
Week 7 – vs. Tennessee, 1 p.m.
Week 8 – Bye
Week 9 – @ Houston, 1 p.m.
Week 10 – @ New England, 1 p.m.
Week 11 (Thursday) – vs. Miami, 8:20 p.m.
Week 12 – @ Indianapolis, 1 p.m.
Week 13 – vs. Jacksonville, 1 p.m.
Week 14 – vs. St. Louis, 1 p.m.
Week 15 – vs. Seattle (in Toronto), 4:05 p.m.
Week 16 – @ Miami, 1 p.m.
Week 17 – vs. New York Jets, 1 p.m.
Really quick thoughts:
- That’s a tough first half schedule, with six of the first nine games on the road. The back-to-back trips to San Francisco and Arizona as well as the back-to-back trips to Houston and New England will be real tests.
- The end of the schedule? Much easier. Weeks 12-14 (@Indy, vs. Jax, vs. St. Louis) is about the softest three weeks you’ll see in the NFL. If this team can get to even 5-5 after Week 11, they are set up well for a playoff run.
- Opening with the Jets? I love it. Let’s do this.
