The Bills have announced that RB Tashard Choice will re-sign with the team. Choice joined the team in late November in 2011 after Fred Jackson’s season-ending injury. He also spent time with Dallas and Washington in 2011.
Choice is best known to Bills fans for inexplicably coming into the game whenever as soon as C.J. Spiller had a good carry or the Bills entered the red zone late last season. Seriously, it was like Chan Gailey was trying to throw th0se games or something.
Choice has recorded 1,216 rushing yards on 279 carries with nine touchdowns and 72 receptions for 550 yards in 61 games with four starts in his career. For the Bills last season he tallied 70 yards on 23 carries. He scored at touchdown in the season-ending loss against New England.
Choice will compete with Johnny White for the third running back spot, and he’ll probably get it, because Gailey seems to like him for some reason.
