bring in a player (hopefully via the draft)  that can contribute right away at the very least Kelsay would provide solid depth. Beyond this point however your options leave you more clueless than “Alicia Silverstone”, and improving upon those options need to start right now if you want to show your fans and the rest of the league you intend to win this season! If you’ve been following my articles then you know I’ve been crying out for months now for the Bills to do something about their lack of a pass rush and this switch kind of places them in a put up or shut up situation. Don’t you love it? Everyone knows in that 4-3 alignment at least one if not both of the ends bring the pressure off the edges so the Bills wouldn’t have any excuse not to place capable players at the end positions. I believe that Dave Wannstedt is going to be good as a defensive coordinator for the Bills I just hope he’s given the best opportunity to succeed by being awarded the best “DEFENSIVE END” talent available.  Couldn’t help but notice that defensive end was in all caps? That’s because I don’t want any confusion as to what route I feel we shout take in this off season, speaking of a route I have something else I want to make known so this doesn’t get screwed up!

Justin Blackmon and Alshon Jeffery, I love them both and I think they’ll both be great NFL players! But in the words of “Franklin” from “My Wife And Kids” hooooooooow ever this is not the direction the Bills should go in on draft day should the opportunity to select either player presents itself. I mean think about it people scoring points wasn’t the Bills problem, stopping the other team that was the problem and unless certain steps are taken (if this sounds redundant…….it should!) it’ll be the problem at this seasons end as well! So lets make a special effort to ensure the Bills make the post season this year, lets involve Dave in the selection process come draft day , lets strengthen that defensive front to strengthen our defensive punch, lets stop telling everybody we want to win and start showing everybody we want to win. When I was in high school my old shop teacher (Mr. Dockins) had a saying “don’t tell me, show me”, these are words that never rung truer for the Buffalo Bills and the season ahead, a season which could be marked as the point in time when the fans stop “Billieving” cause their not seeing the effort! Trust me on this one no one wants more than me for the Bills to make “Billievers” of us all this season and obtaining defensive ends that can get after the quaterback’s a way to show they’ve officially switched to convince mood! GO BILLS!!
