Now say it’s draft day in April and the Bills (who pick 10th this year) have an opportunity to select a player who would significantly improve their pass rush in the upcoming season and they don’t do so. That would be in my eyes the equivalent to that good guy from the movie not taking the bad guy out when the chance to do so is at their finger tips! That’s the connection right there people!! Also let me clear the air on something else, I don’t want to hear that “taking the best player available” crap either! For example you tell me how it makes sense to draft safety (who may clearly be the best player available when you draft) when it’s painfully obvious that you need a Left Tackle! What’s that safety going to do for your football team in a cirucumstance like that, while you have your best player available your quaterback’s still getting mangled every Sunday from his blind side! NO! I’m sorry but only an idiot would make a move like this when the solution to the problem that plagued your ball club the season before is sitting right there for you to select him!
