2012 NFL Draft Order Set For First 20 Picks; Buffalo Bills to Pick 10th

Alshon Jeffery Could Very Well be Buffalo's Selection With the #10 Pick.

With the regular season ending, the selection order for the 2012 NFL Draft has been set (except for the 8th and 9th picks, which need a tiebreaker coin flip between Carolina and Miami). Our own Buffalo Bills will pick 10th. Here’s the complete order of the top 20, courtesy of our Fansided friends at NFL Spin Zone:
1. Indianapolis Colts (2-14)
2. St. Louis Rams (2-14)
3. Minnesota Vikings (3-13)
4. Cleveland Browns (4-12)
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12)
6. Washington Redskins (5-11)
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11)
t8. Carolina Panthers (6-10)
t8. Miami Dolphins (6-10)
10. Buffalo Bills (6-10)
t11. Kansas City Chiefs (7-9)
t11. Seattle Seahawks (7-9)
13. Arizona Cardinals (8-8)
14. Dallas Cowboys (8-8)
15. Philadelphia Eagles (8-8)
16. New York Jets (8-8)
17. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland Raiders) (8-8)
18. San Diego Chargers (8-8)
19. Chicago Bears (8-8)
20. Tennessee Titans (9-7)

Taking a look at the NFL Mocks Big Board, our friends at NFL Mocks have South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery as the #10 player available (USC QB Matt Barkley is ranked #5 and still on the Big Board but has indicated he’s returning to school). I certainly wouldn’t mind another wide receiver.

It will be worth tracking the Big Board, as Bills GM Buddy Nix will likely rigidly stick to a “take the best player available” philosophy and not worry about what position he plays.
