After each Bills victory this season, we’ve been awarding the BLD Game Ball to the outstanding Bills player of the game. Sadly, after a loss, we need to hand out a different kind of “award” – the BLD Goat of the Game.
Plenty of candidates this week after Buffalo got curb-stomped by the Jets yesterday.

CB Terrence McGee – A really tough day for the usually reliable veteran. He was thrown at seven times, and gave up six catches and a pass interference penalty. You wonder if age and injury has finally caught up with McGee.
Coach Chan Gailey – I’ve just about the most staunch Gailey defender out there. I think he’s done a pretty incredible job with one of the league’s thinnest and least talented rosters. But yesterday was a stinker all the way around. Whatever game plan Gailey had, it clearly didn’t work. Plus, the play calling was brutal. Also, if he ever calls for a handoff instead of a QB sneak on 4th-and-one inch again, I might disown him.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick – Two more interceptions. This needs to stop.
LB Nick Barnett – Barnett’s been pretty good in Buffalo, but yesterday was rough. He missed three tackles and was out of position far too often.
So who deserves the “award” this week?
