Bills Trounce Chiefs in Season Opener

Week one is in the books for the Bills, and I must say, I am totally impressed. When the Chiefs fumbled the opening kickoff, the Bills ran with the ball and never looked back. Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick exploded for four touchdowns, two to tight end Scott Chandler. We haven’t had that in years. WRs Stevie Johnson and Donald Jones scored as well. Fitz is No. 1 in the QB rankings this week, so far. We’ll see what happens with the two Monday Night Games tonight. The Bills running game was solid with “Fast Freddie” Jackson running for 112 yards and CJ Spiller punching in a score.

I was really impressed with the Bills defense holding the Chief to seven points and 213 net yards. In case you didn’t know, the Chiefs were 7-1 at home last season with an overall record of 10-6. Needless to say, the Bills beat a good team yesterday and should build upon it.

Oh, yeah, it was magnificent…especially the way Steve Johnson threw that cheap-shot illegal block at Eric Berry and took him out for the year. Of course, considering the guy blames God for his lazy-ass play and lack of talent, I’m assuming he feels the play was A-OK.
