Bills Sign Seven to Practice Squad; TE Zach Pianalto Waived

The Bills have announced that seven players have been signed to the team’s practice squad:

WR Kamar Aiken

QB Levi Brown

TE Mike Caussin

DE Lionel Dotson

NT Michael Jasper

DB Joshua Nesbitt

C Michael Switzer

No huge surprises there, although I’m fairly surprised that WR Naaman Roosevelt was not added to the squad. I really have to wonder how badly he’s hurt. LB Antonio Coleman – who played with the Bills last season – is also not on the squad as of now. Of course, it’s possible other teams have claimed Roosevelt or Coleman. NFL teams are allowed eight on the practice squad, so the Bills have room for one more.

The Bills also announced that the team has released undrafted rookie TE Zach Pianalto, who made the original 53-man squad yesterday. You have to wonder if the Bills holding that open practice squad spot for him. (He’ll have to clear waivers first.)
