The Buffalo Bills did not have a good showing Thursday night by losing their last preseason game. But let’s face it, does it really matter? No, it does not! Preseason is just that, preseason. The starters didn’t work up sweat and preseason is nothing but a waste of time and money.
Now, it’s time trim the roster. Unfortunately, some hometown guys were let go, Jon Corto and Naaman Roosevelt. They possible could make the practice squad or catch on with another team.
For the 53-man roster, it’s time to get down to business and get ready for the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s safe to say that Chan Gailey has something to prove, since the Chiefs bid him adieu. I’m not going to look at the spread, I just want the Bills to play like a team and execute on ALL plays. With that said, I bill-lieve next Sunday’s Season Kickoff will be more than entertaining the preseason. Keep your eyes on “Light Out” Shawne Merriman, who will be a force to be reckoned with if he stays healthy all year. Raise your beers to “Kickoff 2011.”
