Changes at One Bills Drive

After the first preseason game, the Bills are making some changes. On Tuesday, the team said good-bye to LB Aaron Maybin, who was their first draft pick in the 2009 draft. Maybin made a lot of money doing nothing. Let’s face it, it was bad draft pick. The Bills defense will be better off without him, and now, Maybin, is Rex Ryan and the Jets’ problem.

Another stunning move on Tuesday was Chad Rinehart playing left guard on the starting offensive line instead of Andy Levitre. It’s a brilliant move the by Gailey. This sends a signal to all players, that if you’re not trying or playing hard enough, you will be replaced. Competition is good. If this makes the team play better, then I’m all for it. As I said before, this season seems to be different than the not-so-distant past.
