Lee Evans sent to Baltimore

by Uncategorized

With the recent announcement that the Bills were willing to move WR Lee Evans teams did not waste time putting together offers. The Baltimore Ravens apparently had the best offer and Lee Evans was sent to Baltimore in exchange for a 4th round pick.

Things to think about regarding the deal…
1. How will Steve Johnson’s performance be effected by the trade?
2. How will the Bills work to stretch the field without their #1 deep threat?
3. Is Evans not worth at least a 3rd rounder? Yes, his numbers were down but perhaps the Bills could have negotiated a performance based pick. If Evans has 70+ receptions or 1000 yards then the pick becomes the Ravens 3rd rounder.

Sound off Bills Nation.

One FOURTH ROUND draft pick?! You gotta be kidding me. Evans is better than that. I know that the Bills suddenly had a lot of guys at WR, but this seems like a bad move. I agree with Brad that there should at least have been some performance component to this trade. Here's hoping we won't spend the whole season ignoring Ravens games because Evans is lighting up the scoreboard there.

Fourth round? Jeez.
