Well, that stings a little.
As we had mentioned earlier, the Bills were in hot pursuit of Clabo, considered the best right tackle available. Not landing him is definitely a blow. I can already see frustration welling up in the Bills fan base that Buffalo isn’t landing any “name” free agents as of yet. Unfortunately, it’s simply tough to bring top-flight free agents to Buffalo.
Unfortunately, it’s simply tough to bring top-flight free agents to Buffalo. Well, there are some really good reasons for this and it's not the city or the fans. In short, Green Bay can recruit, so it has to be their (management's) history. In short, he would have signed if he was offered enough and/or Buffalo was making moves that showed that they were serious about turning this thing around. He might have helped the team a lot to fix an issue that's been a problem since the early 1990s but instead we spent more money on a WR and a corner that doesn't like to tackle. Seeing that our defense might actually be worse with the loss of Poz, can't help sell the team to anyone.
