Brian Moorman, Bills Raising Money for Joplin Relief Efforts

As part of his ongoing quest to be as awesome as possible, Bills punter Brian Moorman is trying to raise money to help those affected by the tornado that ravaged Joplin, Missouri last month. Moorman is currently auctioning an autographed game-worn jersey on eBay, with all proceeds to go to Joplin.

In addition, Bills players are teaming up with New Era to donate at least $10,000 to the Red Cross. New Era will also provide 10,000 pieces of clothing to those affected by the tornado.

Moorman recently appeared on ProFootballTalk Live (skip ahead to part 3 for the Moorman part) with Mike Florio to discuss a number of topics, including:

1) His close ties to the Joplin area. (He attended college 20 minutes away at Pittsburg State.)

2) The jersey auction

3) Buffalo’s new uniforms

4) His hopes for the future of the Bills

5) This amazing hit he took in the Pro Bowl from the late Sean Taylor:
