Were the Seahawks destined to become the Bills of the NFC West?
I just read an interesting note from Foxsports.com’s Adam Caplan:
“While the Seahawks traded for Charlie Whitehurst last year, a source said that their top target after Kolb was actually Trent Edwards, not Whitehurst. They turned their attention to Whitehurst once they were unable to acquire Edwards from the Buffalo Bills, the source said.”
If this is true, there’s a chance two of the Bills’ top three draft picks in 2007 would have been Seahawks last season.
