Maybin Looking To Benefit From Merriman

The Bills shocked the NFL yesterday when they snagged Shawne Merriman from the waiver wire. And even though Merriman might not be wearing a Bills uniform after this season, some of the younger players are anxious to pick Merriman’s brain, including the struggling Aaron Maybin.

“It’s definitely exciting to have an opportunity to have a guy like that come out here and having a chance to learn whatever you can learn from him,” Maybin told BuffaloBills.com .

“What he’s done in his career speaks for itself really,” Maybin continues. “He’s definitely an electrifying playmaker on the defensive side of the football. Having a chance to work with him, especially being somebody that you already have a personal relationship with it’s good.”

After being labeled ‘The Worst Player In The NFL’ by Yahoo! Sports, Maybin has been handed a golden opportunity here to turn his career around and show that the Bills didn’t waste their #1 draft pick two seasons ago.
