The backfield situation in Buffalo just got a little more clearer today as the Buffalo Bills traded RB Marshawn Lynch to the Seattle Seahawks for a fourth-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and a conditional pick in the 2012 draft.

This comes to no surprise to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, as he has information suggesting that the Seahawks thought that they had a deal with the Bills last week to acquire Lynch.

Lynch finishes up his career with the Bills totalling 2,765 rushing yards and 18 total touchdown. Lynch was a fan favorite up in Buffalo, until his off the field problems led to a suspension a season ago.

To make room for Lynch on their roster, Seattle has released running back, Julius Jones.

Breaking news: Former 12th overall pick Marshawn Lynch Traded to Seattle for a sack of prunes and a case of Depends. *Groan*

Haha, I’m not sure if Lynch would have bought the Bills back anything more than what Seattle gave them.

Although, with the way the Bills handle their draft picks, one could think we basically just gave away our Beast Mode for nothing.

Let’s hope this just opens the road for a lot more C.J. Spiller sightings.
