Familiar Faces Back For Second Preseason Game

With Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch both out for Thursday’s Preseason game for the Colts, it’s definitely nice to hear that other familiar names will be back on the field.

Two of the biggest names that Coach Gailey says “has a good chance” of being in the line up are two important pieces to the Bills offensive line; left tackle Demetrius Bell and starting guard Eric Wood. It would be to the entire team’s benefit if the entire starting offensive line plays the rest of the way this preseason to gel and become a respectful unit.

The other names that will see some playing time for the first time this year are on the defensive side of the ball; Paul Posluszny, Chris Kelsay and Keith Ellison. After the embarrassing performance put on by the Bills defense in their 42-17 loss to the Redskins, it will be nice to see some of the regular names back out there on the field, especially Posluszny who had 110 total tackles (solo & assisted) last season.

Also seeing his first action in the preseason is QB Brian Brohm. Brohm was a ‘DNP Coach’s Decision’ in the game against the Redskins, but Coach Gailey plans to shake up the QB rotation for the second game, ““Trent will start and then we’ll put Brian Brohm in the game and then if there’s some snaps left, Levi Brown will play,” said Gailey. ”Fitz (Ryan Fitzpatrick) won’t play in this one. He played last week and Brian didn’t play.” BuffaloBills.com .
