TE Derek Schouman Resigns with Bills

Good news for Buffalo as TE Derek Schouman has agreed to re-signed with the Buffalo Bills after accepting the contract offer the team tendered last month.

Schouman topped the depth chart at the position last year before an ugly knee injury ended his season in Week 2. Before getting hurt in that 33-20 victory over Tampa Bay, Schouman was able to notch nine catches for 103 yards.

Buffalo drafted the young Boise State alum in the seventh round of the 2007. He has 27 catches for 275 yards and a touchdown in 21 games, in his 15 career starts.

It is depressing being a Bills fan. Lynch wants out and we don’t have a good QB, on top of that our big sign this offseason is Cornell Green. Maybe a good LT will en-light my interest. But Chan Gailey and Green don’t help create space for Lee Evans or add Fred Jackson in as a real QB.
