Just Win Baby! Raiders Take A Shot With J.P. Losman

He’s going, going, back, back, to Cali. Former first-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills, J.P. Losman, is headed back to California — this time to play for the Oakland Raiders.

The Venice, CA native quarterback played college ball in Tulane before coming to the Bills in 2004. In 5 seasons with Buffalo, he threw for 33 touchdowns, 34 interceptions, and had a quarterback rating of 75.6. As a starter, his record is 10 wins and 23 losses.

None of this, however, dissuaded the Raiders from aquiring Losman from the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League.

With Bruce Gradkowski injured with two damaged MCL knee ligaments, Al Davis was looking for an experienced veteran who could help them during the final three weeks of the season. They found their man in the strong-armed UFL champion.

Just win baby.
