Bills Fire Offensive Coordinator

Turk Schonert is out as Offensive Coordinator of the Buffalo Bills.

The announcement comes as a surprise but not a shock to Bills fans as the offense has been nothing short of pathetic this preseason. The firing is the third time this week that an NFL Offensive Coordinator has been let go; the trend of dropping personnel before the season starts is relatively uncharted territory in the league.

The announcement came from coach Dick Jauron in a press release at 1:30pm today. It is likely that the Bills will bump up QB coach and former Bills slinger Alex Van Pelt to fill the vacancy.
