Is Terrell Owens worth the hype?

Buffalo Bills fans were expecting something to happen this summer, after another dismal 7-9 season.

All they got was Terrell Owens – and then the circus came to town with OTAs.

The most recent Owens spotlight comes at the expense of a Dallas fan who caught up with Owens in the world of hyperspace.

Here is the exact information from rotoworld.com: “Answering a fan who said he was unhappy that T.O. left Dallas, Owens tweeted: ‘Neither ws i, blame the OC & romo!! but i’m happy 2 b where i am but i miss the other guys tht were & r true teammates!!’”

This, according to the media outlets is the first of what will be many shots at Trent Edwards and his undoing here in Buffalo.

Really? It sounds to me like he was just voicing his opinion, about the fact that Romo didn’t want Owens around, and that the offensive coordinator in Dallas Jason Garrett wasn’t going to utlize him.

At no time has Owens tried to push his way around here in Buffalo – rather; he wants to fit in and learn his new offense.

If one were to take the time to actually read through his twitter comments – Owens seems to be embracing his new surroundings – for example:

Oh Yeh!! BTW, i’m back frm Niagara Falls & it ws truly amazing!! it ws unbelievable! Never thought i’d ever c Niagara Falls n my lifetime!

I don’t think Owens was doing anything other than trying to appease one of his fans in Dallas.
Ready or not Buffalo – the spotlight is on you.
