Terrell Owens has shown up for voluntary training and OTAs at One Bills Drive, and defends his slow getting here to the tune that he wanted to ease into the Bills lineup, and learn the calls, signals, plays, and get to know his new offense. At least he’s here.
On top of that, the Bills second running back has joined the team, after staying away for a short period of time because of contract talks. Fred Jackson, not happy with not having a long term deal from the Bills, has shown up to camp, hoping his presence will help push the Bills into tendering him a long term offer, as opposed to the minimum offer they were required to tender to sign him.
It seems things are starting to come together for the Bills, the next major hurdles will be the draft, and getting through the first four games of the season without starting running back Marshawn Lynch. Given the right motivation – Fred Jackson can, and has proven that he can handle the load when Lynch is not on the field.
