Interesting weekend for Bills Fans
This weekend was spent greiving for most Bills Fans, as Friday night nasty rumors swirled around the internet about a possibility that long time team owner Ralph Wilson Jr. had passed away. Many Bills fans fear that the demise of the long time owner will be the beginning of the end of their hometown football team. Thankfully, Ralph Wilson Jr. is well, suffering only an injured shoulder after a fall in his home. Well wishes go out to him as he recovers. In more greivous and not rumored news, the only championship coach in Buffalo Sports history has passed away. [...]
Is it time for a developmental league?
Our blogger over at Cat Crave, John White has provided a decent look at how to make a feasible and inexpensive developmental league for the NFL. You can read his full post at: http://catcrave.com/2009/03/30/its-time-for-a-minor-league-system/#more-1446 I do not agree with the NFL setting up a developmental league, but at the same time I think one is necessary. I think a developmental league will help prevent teams from paying players like JP Losman five million dollar a year salaries for a player who is going to bring your team down for as many as four or five years. Lou Saban passes
Only Marv Levy has won more games than him, but he did coach Buffalo to two AFL championships; and generations of Bills fans will long remember him for that. Today marks a sad day in Buffalo Bills history as at about 4 am this morning, Lou Saban passed away at the age of 87. Rest in peace Lou, and thanks for the memories.
Rumors on Ralph Wilson
This weekend was a busy one across the internet, as rumors were swirling that Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson had passed away. This rumor was quickly dismissed, as no credible media outlet had picked up the story. It was said that Wilson was taken to the hospital for an injured shoulder, forcing him to miss the owners meeting. Uncertain times await the Buffalo Bills when Mr. Wilson does pass away, as the family set to inherit the team have already pledged to sell the team to the highest bidder.

Bills to Open Season in New England on Monday Night
If signing Terrel Owens was designed by the Bills to bring in media attention, it worked. The Buffalo Bills will open the 2009 National Football Season against the New England Patriots in New England, on Monday Night Football. Anyone think we can start this year 4-0 like last year? What a way to deflate a team, hey we want you to start the season in a stadium that you haven’t won at in a decade. Thanks NFL. The good news should continue to roll in throughout the next few weeks, the Bills will draft a quarterback in the first round, [...]
