Around the League

Two  quick notes from around the rest of the NFL -

  • Rex Ryan sets a high standard in New York for the Jets – and the media soaked it all up.

Boy this is what we are missing in Buffalo – a coach with some attitude! He didn’t parade out in front of the media and make excuses, or say he was going to try and build a franchise up, he came out and said, we will win a Super Bowl during Obama’s term.  The clock is ticking Rex.

  • Pittsburgh WR Hines Ward, who hasn’t missed a game all season due to injury, will be ready for the Super Bowl, according to the wide receiver.  He said Wednesday he wasn’t going to let the first game he missed be the Super Bowl.  Ward said he would be ready this week if there was a game to play.

Jason Peters take note – when the games matter, real Pro Bowl caliber players play in the game.
