If the first half was any indication, the UB Bulls were on their way to their second bowl victory in their second bowl appearance.
The first victory came in 1958 when the team stood together and refused to accept a bowl bid because of colored players on their team not being allowed to play.
The second victory was whisked away UConn found its second wind and played an unstoppable second half.
At least with the Bulls we can say there is always next year, because well, they show hope, promise, drive, and ambition.
