Edwards under center

Trent Edwards will most likely be under center for tomorrows game in Denver.  I do not think it is going to be a good test of his abilities, given the state of Denver’s defense, but it should allow him to gain some confidence heading into the off season, so that he can worry about getting better during the break, as opposed to worrying about losing his job…but then again this is Buffalo and we were told not to expect a QB in the draft in which we selected Edwards.

Teams heading into this weekend and next that have clinched playoff spots and/or home field advantage will be resting their starters heading into the post season.  I think the Bills should be doing the same thing, only for a different reason.  I think they should be testing their fringe players now, so that they can see who they should and shouldn’t bring back.
