This is just another example of what a farce the NFL All Star game is. Jason Peters holds out, then has a next to average year – putting the Bills in a pretty good position to negotiate with the former pro-bowler.
Then the league in their infinite wisdom go and vote Peters into the bowl game. What were they thinking? He held out and didn’t suit up for a game till the second week – and he had a major mistake or penalty every game – so costly they effected the Bills winning ways.
I am sure the league could have found a better representative on the Bills roster to showcase their skills as the ambassador from Buffalo (Brian Moorman, Ryan Lindell, Marshawn Lynch to name a few).
