Bills vs. Niners
The Bills welcome back Nate Clements and Takio Spikes to Ralph WIlson today, but it will neither be warm, or a good welcome. It is cold outside, but not a bitter cold like we are used to, when I was out this morning doing some running around it was more of a tolerable cold, and the snow has started to fall. I think it has been going on and off today, but none the less it is still falling. That should favor into an advantage for the Bills, but not like it use to.
The 49ers gave a lot of yards up last week, and while Buffalo is no Dallas, they should be able to exploit some of the same wholes for some amount of success. The Bills should be riding high off last weeks blowout win over Kansas City, and would be wise to ride that momentum into the start of the game. If the BIlls can ride that wave and pin the 49ers down early, the game will be all but over before it starts. One thing we have learned from the Bills so far this season however, is that they can’t take their opponents out of a game, and allow late game heroics to bail them out, or crush themselves.
Even with a mediocre effort the Bills should win this one. Eric, over at Niner Noise (www.ninernoise.com) thinks it is going to be a close game, 27-24, with a Buffalo win. I do not think it is going to be that close, unless San Francisco wins. I think the Bills will prevail 31-24.
