This is probably going to be the most unwatched football on Sunday; except maybe in Bills and Chiefs Nation. Even there I think there is a little bit of fan resentment. In Kansas City you have a miserable football team, composed of mainly college kids trying to play a college offense against the pros. Then you have Buffalo, who is on a complete implosion since starting the season just as hot as the Giants and Titans. This game has playoff implications for absolutely no one, and should be a great platform to get Trent Edwards his confidence back.
I would love to be able to say that the Bills are going to circle the wagons around Chiefs Nation and destroy this team, but I have little faith in that happening after the last month. The whole continues to be dug deeper and deeper, and that three year deal supposedly made with Jauron is not looking too good now.
One thing is for certain, If Trent does not snap out of this funk soon, he may lose his job just as easily as the last proclaimed starter in Buffalo did. Look for the tell tale signs from the Bills management, if they claim not to have interest in drafting a quarterback, and do, the Trent era could be over faster than it started.
