The Bills took the day off today in remembrance of those who game some, and those who gave all. I would like to take a moment now and pause to remember those who never made it home, those who are challenged now because of their sacrifice, and those that made the sacrifice. One of my favorite and movie quotes comes from the Big and Rich Song “8th of November” –”Greater love hath no man, than to lay down his life for a friend.” Please enjoy this song below:

You have probably thanked a veteran today, and humbly he paused and reflected on your thanks. The guys over at userfriendly.org were able to put a comic strip together that I think sums up the feelings of veterans during this time. Please enjoy this and pass it on to all who enjoy to reflect. It is a continuation, the first three frames on the 10th of November and the last three on the 11th.

“A call to duty requires a great sacrifice that we are ready to bear to the betterment of a great nation, we do n’t do it for recongition or glory, to serve is an honor for any soldier.”
