All is not lost – Wild Card could still be in sight.

All is not lost for the Bills this season, if they can figure a few things out.

1) Coaches need to be just as hungry as the players are. Jauron, as stoic as he is, needs to lead this team. I don’t need him to jump up and down and scream at guys, but act like your interested in your job.

2) Offense needs to score points. The Bills need to start finding the endzone before the fourth quarter. They need to support the defense. Take the New England game for example. Up until late, the defense had kept the Bills in the game. The 9 minute drive at the end of the fourth quarter, the defense waving the white flag, because they couldn’t carry the offense anymore.

3) Edwards needs to get over the shock of geting hit. Welcome to the bigs kid. Adrian WIlson came in unchecked to clock Edwards with a huge hit, and drove him hard into the mat. Since then he has flopped like a fish out of water everytime a defensive player gets close to him, even if they are pulling back. It happened against New England at least three time.

4) Win. The Bills are looking to be favored in their next three. Beat the Browns, Chiefs, and 49ers, and your 8-4. Figure out how to win at home in Toronto against Miami (9-4). Beat the Broncos (10-4). Try against the Jets (most likely 10-5, but we could get a surprise). You’ve got the Patriots at home to end the season. After Sunday it looks like the L is already on the schedule, but if the offense can get fired up before the 2 minute warning of the second half, they can stay with Cassel. The Bills could still easily end up 10-6, and a long shot to go 11-5.

I am not looking for Buffalo to make waves and challenge someone for the Superbowl.  But lets at least play more than 16 games of football a year.
