Good teams are built on good coaching, and great players can sometimes overcome minor coaching mistakes. Jauron is not a minor mistake, and the Bills do not have great players.
The Bills face a very daunting task of beating the New England Patriots. Even without Brady, the Patriots are going to be a difficult task for Buffalo. Buffalo has its own problems to worry about, before they can even consider worrying about the Patriots, and that is dangerous in this league. The last two games, the Bills have beaten themselves, untimely turnovers gave opponents a slight edge, and Buffalo could not recover.
If the Bills even start to cower from the sheer sight of the Patriots uniforms, the game will be over long before the coin toss is over. If the Bills can keep their composure, and return to the form they were at when they played Jacksonville – they may stand a chance. And the only chance they have at remaining in the division race is if they can pull off a win on Sunday; if they lose, the chances of winning the division may have flown the coup, as well as the chance of making the playoffs, even though they should win their remaining non-division games.
It might be another very short season for Bills fans again.
