So I unfolded the Buffalo News this morning to see Dante Whitner at Niagara Catholic High School for a clinic won by a student at the school. The picture was of Whitner signing the kids shirt. The problem that I have with it…was Whitner expecting an important phone call? Couldn’t he have taken the blue tooth out of his ear while he was with the kids?
I give both Buffalo teams (BIlls and Sabres) credit, they are heavily involved in the community, but can’t you leave the cell phone in the car? What every phone calls you get cannot be important enough that you would interrupt the visit anyway. Plus, there is this wonderful thing called voice mail.
