Bills vs. Dolphins

Well this week went against everything the Bills needed.  Not only did they lose to the Dolphins, they did it in a very embarrassing manner.

Trent Edwards looked more like JP Losman.  The Bills turned over the ball in the second half on three different occasions, if you add in the safety against Edwards it was four straight drives the Bills laid down in front of the Phins on.  Don’t take this the wrong way, Miami did not win today because Buffalo rolled over, CHad Pennington played a huge game today, and really dictated the offense, beating Buffalo for the first time since December of ‘05.

The Phins did what Buffalo needed to do in the second half, grab hold of the momentum and take it to them.  The Dolphins win today did more than just embarass the Bills, it really opened up the AFC East.  No longer does Buffalo have control of the East, The Pats have tied them, and Miami and the Jets are within striking distance.

The first place Bills looked like the 2007-2008 Bills, allowing penalties and turnovers to lose the game for them.

Yellow wasnt the only flag thrown today.  DIck Jauron finally threw the challenge flag.  I cannot understand.  He throws the flag on a punt that might gain him an extra yard, but he doesn’t throw it on a play in Arizona that could have prevented a turnover which started the Bills undressing in that game.   Had the Bills won today, Jauron may have had a turn of fortune, starting to win more than lose, but his actions still scream that he has no idea what he is doing as a head coach in this league.
