Nothing has come easy for the Buffalo Bills this season. Ok, so maybe week 1 and 7, but everything else has been a tough pill to swallow. The Bills are sitting atop the division, something they have not been able to do for over a decade. The Patriots can be seen in the rear view mirror, but with the help of Trent Edwards, they Patriots video cameras are picking up less on the field than the guys sitting in the nose bleeds.
Taking a look around FSB, Musket Fire is hoping for a Patriots win and a Bills loss, hoping to catch the Bills in a tie for the division. I think this is a good possibilty if the Bills defense cannot take care of the “Wildcat” offense. Listening to some of the audio clips of Bills players over the last two days, they know what they need to do, and if they can execute like they did against San Diego, The Bills look to sit pretty and could have a bye in the first round of the playoffs, and possibly home field advantage throughout.
I do not doubt that he Miami Dolphins are better than they were last year, I mean they cant be worse, and they already have more wins. The Tampa Rays have proven it is possible to go worst to first (or at least contend for first). It should be an interesting game, and hopefully it will do something to bring back a heated rivalry that has some one gone from boil to simmer since the days of Bruce, Thurman, Kelly, and Marino.
