Bills don’t make splash on trading deadline – prepare for San Diego

The Bills did very little on trading deadline day, which is nothing out of the norm.  Getting rid of McGargo was a good idea, no sense in keeping someone with a negative attitude causing a cancer on the sidelines.  It is better to get rid of this type of player early, before they can start to cause problems.

The game is still up for grabs, with the game going to a pick on the line, with no clear cut winner.  I think this plays into the Bills favor, I think if they can come out in the right mindset, they should be able to squeeze one away from the Chargers.  If Edwards is under center, the Bills are going to be in the game up until the final whistle.  If Edwards is under center, the Bills will see a chance at a win disappear as soon as San Diego goes up by two scores if Losman is taking the snaps.
Another factor that could hamper the Bills is their defense.  Hopefully the time off since the Arizona debacle have allowed players and coaches alike to get back to basics.  I’m still not sold on the fact that the Bills can pull this one off.  At the same time, it is not clear that San Diego can run away with this game either.  Depending on which Bills team shows up will depend on how this game ends up.  I am going to withhold judgement until just before game time, so I can see who is and isn’t playing, and how the line swings.
