Depth will be key in Sunday’s game – numbers favor the Bills

Things are looking up for the Bills on Sunday.  The Cardinals injuries are going to take a toll, with guys filling roles they have yet to see, and some players stepping into the lineup for the first time.  The Cardinals are on the cusp of being a great team, but for all of the glory they recieve for being a high flying offense – they are mistake prone with the right pressure.

The Bills depth is more promising, when Stroud when down, the defense didn’t miss a beat, and Johnson played in Stroud’s shadow well enough that I am not worried if Stroud cannot play, on the unlikely chance that he is not ready.

The Bills need only concentrate on three things to win on Sunday:

1 – a fast start, something they have had problems with the last few weeks. The Cards secondary allowed an aged Brett Favre six TD’s last week – not good numbers.

2 – Defensive Pressure – the Cards are mistake prone, if the Bills can supply a fair amount of pressure, look for turnovers to force the hand of the game.

3 – Run the ball and control the clock.  The defense should not be the only ones called upon to save the day and win the game, an effective run game can take the clock away from the Cardinals and keep the Cards offense off the field.

Im looking forward to something like a 27-20 Bills win.
