Predicting a Cardinals Victory?

by Uncategorized

Scott Allen, from AZsportshub.com is predicting a Cardinals win, 28-24 this Sunday (he may change the score a bit on Saturday depending on the injury report), based solely on the fact that the Cards have a high powered offense.  (Cards have amasses 106 points, to Buffalo’s 109).

The Bills games must be blacked out in Arizona.  No where in the article does he mention that Buffalo’s defense is hands down better than it was last year, and the Cards defense is suspect (Bills have only allowed 63, while the Cards have allowed 103).

The Cards are on a 2 game winless streak, but do have the advantage of playing at home after a long East Coast road trip.  The Bills have a lot of momentum, which was just obviously multiplied by the signing of Lee Evans to a new 4 year deal.

I do agree with Scott that it is going to be a close game, but the Bills have proven to be able to win the close games this year, coming from behind to win in the fourth quarter.

Bills are 14-6 (70%) ATS since 2002 after games in which they scored more than 30pts, including a 1-0 record this year. They are also 12-4 (75%) ATS since 2002 in games when they covered the spread the previous week but their opponent did not.

First of all, I'm the lead blogger for Raising Zona for Fansided, not AZsportshub.  AZsportshub just links my posts.  Its ok though, I give you a mulligan cause I made a similar mistake last week with the Jets blogger.  Anyways, Bufflo has scored 109 points yes, but playing St Louis and Oakland, and with another weak defense they are facing this week - is why I predicted Buffalo will score 24.  However, AZ was 6-2 last season at home.  They are 1-0 so far this season.  It's becoming a tough place to play.  It will be close.  Oh and BTW - the game is NOT blacked out in Arizona as your post suggests.  It's been three years since we've had a blackout.
