So again I was not that far off my prediction. I did say it was not going to be easy, and the Bills, thanks to a late push and a late field goal, both the Bills and Raiders scored more points than I thought they would.
It was a grudge match, an unexpected one (who knew Russell would go 84 yards for a TD on one play). The Bills faced adversity, much more than last week, and did not succumb. I said it earlier on, this Bills team is a little bit better than last year, better to the point that they will win the close games. It seemed a fitting day to add Bruce Smith to the wall, and to have Edwards cement his credentials even more with a second come from behind win in a row.
The Bills made mistakes this week, that will have to change, the penalties need to be reigned in – the Bills could have cruised to an easier victory had they played more mature. But the end result of today is going to increase fandemonium here in Buffalo.
