Player Predictions
As we are days away from opening kickoff, I came across this blog predicting big names for fantasy players in the AFC East. Stu Arl had some good things to say about starting quarterback Trent Edwards:
I’d like to see a little more but Trent Edwards might be developing into one of the top young quarterbacks in the league. He has a big arm, decent mobility and the right level of confidence to be the team leader. That said, he’s not yet ready to put up big stats.
I don’t think its Edwards fault that he is not ready to put up big stats, I place the blame on poor, unaggressive coaching, and an inadequate front line. If the frontline can plug the holes and protect Edwards, see him put up adequate numbers and have a better rating than Losman ever could maintain. All Edwards needs to do is grab the Buffalo, er….Bull by the horns.
Edwards may not be a great choice for your starting quarterback in your fantasy league, but he may be a viable backup.
