Countdown to the end of summer and thanks to bob

So the end of summer is here, that is shown by the end of the American Fair, the Bills are wrapping up at St John Fischer and are headed to Buffalo, er, Orchard Park.  Where did the summer go?  I have an idea for football fans to spend their summers.
Football players are some of the highest paid athletes in the world, and they also play one of the shortest seasons (game wise and in length).  I would definitely be in favor of a shorter training camp (get rid of it all together) for a summer NFL league.  Play them in smaller venues, non-market areas so the fringe fans have the ability to get to the games.  Keep it in the division, much like the NBA teams have smaller summer leagues.

I would also like to thank Bob for correcting my mistake “lead” should have been”league”.  I would also like to point out that I did not say there was a controversy, I was saying that if McKelvin keeps playing the way he does, and the other guys are not doing as well, we could see the parity show up in the roster changes - and that I think it is a good thing for competition.  I for one love a good positional battle and a controversy over a position because it means your going to get the best out of these athletes.

  1. bob Says:

“With Peters out of the lineup indefinitely, the Bills have the same problem at the linebacker position. There is no clear cut starter - yet”

again there is no controversys at linebacker.  mitchell poz crowell.  peter’s has nothing to do with the linebacker position.  he plays offensive tackle.
