The Buffalo Bills continue to make more roster moves necessitated by the plethora of injuries that have hit the team. The team signed Cornerback Jerametrius Butler yesterday and put back up running back Josh Scobey on waivers in order to make room for him. The move was necessary because of the injuries suffered by the secondary. In the game against New England the Bills started Jabari Greer and Ashton Youboty at corner and were forced to use Bryan Scott who is naturally a safety.
The loss of Scobey will not affect the team since it seemed like every time his name was mentioned it was in a negative way. In the week one loss to Denver Scobey took a costly penalty for hitting the punt returner before the ball arrived and this past week against New England he was average at best in replacing an injured Terrance McGee at kick returner.
I fully expect that the Bills will continue to look to improve the team if possible. The Bills defense has allowed over 450 yards in each of their three losses. The Bills defense was young and inexperienced when the season began and they have become even more inexperienced over the past three weeks. It will be interesting to see how the team reacts to the loss of key players as the schedule becomes a little bit easier in the second half of the season.
