The Buffalo Bills aren’t expected to do a whole lot on Sunday in Foxboro against the New England Patriots. There isn’t a person in the world who thinks the Bills have a chance to win the game in fact they are 17 point underdogs. This is the best possible situation for the Bills to be in. All the preseason expectations are gone and this team is not expected to even compete so all they need to do is let loose and play football.
The Bills have played a conservative style offense till this point, a game plan that will not beat the New England Patriots. The offense needs to come out firing from the opening kickoff until the final gun and never let up. The Cleveland Browns were not expected to compete this season but they were able to put up 51 points last week when they opened things up. I don’t expect the Bills to put up 51 points and they probably can’t win the game but I expect the offense to break out of their funk.
If the Bills are able to stretch the field early it will open up the running game for Marshawn Lynch. The key to the Bills success this week will be a balanced offensive attack and the defense continuing to play a bend but don’t break style. The New England Patriots will be able to exploit the Bills young and inexperienced defense.
The Buffalo Bills defense is young and inexperienced at all positions except defensive end and till this point we haven’t seen anything from Schobel or Kelsay. If Schobel and Kelsay can put pressure on Tom Brady they’ll have an opportunity to force him to make mistakes giving the team a chance to pull the major upset.
Sunday should be a fun game …let’s hope they don’t disappoint!
